I don't remember exactly how or when i found out about the digest, but i'm
glad i did.  In this day of music meaning little more than your cell phone
is ringing we need to keep the torch lit for the joy and ..... well, the DAYS that The Kinks gave us.

My first record, not counting RUSTY IN
ORCHESTRAVILLE, my first record was ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT and 43 years later i still smile involuntarily when i hear The Kinks. iIstill cant
explain it, nor do i want to explain it. I think if i could the magic would
be gone.

Neil, you are the most tolerent temperate list manager that I've ever seen. I tend to avoid these groups. You cant converse with zealots, but somehow you have assembled a group of fans who rarely cross that line, and who share the
love for some of the greatest music to ever cross our eardrums.

A tip of my hat to the 3000th edition, and may there be 300,000 more before someone has
to take over for you !!

I'm bad at toasts.

YOU CANT STOP THE MUSIC PLAYING ON

Bob
