I am a 2-time subscriber to the KPS Digest, first subscribing back in 1997.
Wow! Has it really been that long!?! I can't remember exactly how I found the
website, but I do know I was an avid, die-hard fan for 20+ years prior to owning
a PC and began searching all-things-KINKS from the very first time I entered
into cyberspace, but I digress.
Here are some of the highlights of my KPS years (in no particular
order):
1) I learned it's time to stop babbling once you've used the term "but I
digress"
2) I found a family of misfits (I thought there was only Frank Lima and I
until I found you all)
3) I've come to appreciate other people's opinions
4) I've gotten fed up with other people's opinions
5) I've been enlightened to so much more excellent music that I would have
never heard
6) I've made friends and acquaintances from all around the world
7) I had to start wearing eyeglasses after 45 years with X-RAY vision (pun
intended)
8) I've learned to tone down the puns
9) I've learned to stay away from making lists because I suck at it!
And, the greatest highlight of joining the KPS, for me, was meeting,
befriending and getting to know our own, most esteemed, Henny Stahli. I can't
tell you how many ways this man has touched my life since first meeting him back
in 1999, I think it was, but I digress... oops!
In summary, I just want to congratulate Neil on the longevity of his
commitment to his passion, and ours, and thank him most graciously for all he
has done, and hopefully, will continue to do for many, many, many more (thank
you for the) days!
