Thank you
so much for all your hard work on the KPS digest. Hard to believe it is number
3000. I have been reading (though rarely posting) since I heard about it via
Dave Emlen’s site what seems like many years ago. The combination of your
digest and Dave’s site make me feel I am always up to date and keeps me
connected with other fans.
Like many
readers of your digest, I have been a Kinks (not forgetting Ray and Dave solo)
fan for a very long time and their music has been a really important part of my
life since I got my first Kinks record, YRGM at the age of 8. My son and
daughter have also grown up with our boys music playing in the house or car and
have also become big fans.
Here is a
picture of me in front of a poster of
the great RDD .The poster is from the postponed gig at the Royal Albert Hall and
has pride of place in our house.
