Christopher Martin

Thank you, Neil for all the work and effort you put into maintaining this forum for all of us Kinks Fans.  I look forward to every single digest and the news and information that comes with it.  Many years ago I drove by the Club Bene in my Jersey hometown and noticed with horror that Dave Davies played there the night before.  I missed it!!  I never heard any mention of it anywhere and would have killed to go.

A year later I came across this digest while I was goofing around on line.  Since than I have not missed a record release, TV interview, concert date, tribute record, tribute band concert, solo performance--you get the idea, of anything or anybody Kinks related.  In high school, I lost my left eye in a farming accident.  Chosen People had just come out, my brother gave

me the tape as a get well gift.  I laid in the hospital for 3 weeks listening to that record-years later the tape was eaten by my player.  A few years ago, I found out (through this digest) that it was rereleased.  I was able to get a new copy of a CD that meant a lot to me.  I cannot Thank You and the people on the digest enough.  The Kinks for whatever reason have been an integral part of my life since early 1983.  It is wonderful to have found a place to discuss and share their music.  There is just something magical about The Kinks and what they stand for!!  Thanks Neil, Thanks to all the other Kinksters out there.
So Long, So long....
Chris
