Three thousand digests. That is
truly amazing!!!! All I can say is Thank you Neill!!!! None of us will ever be
able to repay you or thank you enough for the countless years worth of hours you
have put in to the digest, to keep this tight knit, not so little community
alive and thriving.
I really can not recall when I first
got on the list. At this point in my life I know I’m 47 years old, been married
17 years, have three kids, two of whom are teenagers, and how to drive to work
in the morning and return home at night. Everything else is a blur. I do know
that I go back at least as far as May 1998 (KPS 884) as for some reason I have
that one saved because of a set list of Ray playing at J & R Music World in
NY (sent in by Jerry). But I think I may go back a year or so earlier. I do
know that I found out about the list by stumbling across Dave Emlens site.
These days, I’m pretty much a lurker. For a while I would post somewhat
regularly, but I have always enjoyed reading the musings and comments of such
Knowledgeable folks like Jerry (JerzkyB), Bob Gill, and Jim Smart, to name but a
few. Oh, and I will occasionally read through some of the ranting and ravings
from my fellow
All in all, the KPS has been a part
of my daily life for at least the past 10 years. Thank you Neill, and sorry for
the grainy picture (digital is busted, Santas brining a new one, but for now the
phone cameras all I got).
